Michal has over 20 years of biopharmaceutical experience, beginning his career in 2004 at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in the UK. Subsequently, he joined Lundbeck in Denmark where worked in several positions across global marketing, building commercialisation plans for launch brands. In 2016 he was appoint Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, and in 2020 he was appoint Vice President and General Manager for Canada.
Michal Juul Sørensen joined Pharmacosmos in November 2025 to lead the build up the Canadian affiliate as the Vice President & Managing Director of Pharmacosmos Canada.
Michal holds both a BSc in microbiology and an MSc in molecular virology from Imperial College London.
