Elevate global market presence and drive commercial expansion
As Director, Global Commercial Partnerships at Pharmacosmos, you will report to the Vice President, Global Commercial Partnerships and be part of the Pharmaceutical Business Unit. In close collaboration with a small, specialized global team, you will drive commercial growth and strategic expansion across partner markets where Pharmacosmos operates without local affiliates. You will hold full commercial responsibility for a defined portfolio, ensuring strong sales performance and maximizing the potential of the IV iron portfolio while supporting the commercialization of pipeline products. The role combines strategic business development with hands-on partner management, including driving commercial execution, leading market expansion initiatives, identifying and negotiating new partnerships, and ensuring successful onboarding of partners. You will also provide commercial support across markets, including sales training, brand positioning, pricing, and launch excellence for key products. Furthermore, you will gather and translate market insights into actionable strategies while leading cross-functional collaboration across internal stakeholders and regional market teams, ensuring strong alignment, execution, and continued commercial success in an international environment.
Experienced and intercultural business development profile
We expect you to hold a relevant educational background within Business Administration, Commercial Law, Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline, preferably complemented by strong commercial training or experience. In addition, you possess significant experience from the international pharmaceutical industry within commercial management, alliance management, business development, strategic partnerships, or distributor/partner market management. You have a proven track record of driving commercial growth through international partners and distributors and are experienced in navigating complex pharmaceutical markets and stakeholder landscapes. Experience with launch activities, strategic and contract negotiations, licensing agreements, and cross-functional project leadership is considered a strong advantage. Furthermore, you possess strong analytical and strategic capabilities combined with a hands-on commercial mindset. You are comfortable identifying market opportunities, evaluating business cases, and translating strategic ambitions into actionable plans and measurable results. You are able to build trust and long-term partnerships while ensuring strong commitment and prioritization from external partners and internal stakeholders alike.
Personally, you are characterized by a strong international mindset and excellent intercultural communication skills. You work in a structured and proactive manner and thrive in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment with broad responsibilities and high visibility. You are self-driven, commercially focused, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
You are recognized as a strong relationship builder who communicates clearly, transparently, and professionally across organizational levels and cultures. In addition, you possess a high level of personal drive, flexibility, and accountability, enabling you to navigate a dynamic international environment successfully.
Finally, you are fluent in English, written and spoken, and comfortable working across multiple regions, cultures and time zones in a global business setting.
