Headquartered in Holbæk, Denmark, the company employs more than 650 people worldwide with subsidiaries across Europe, the US, and Asia. Pharmacosmos is experiencing continued growth and is in the midst of an ongoing digital transformation, where data and insights play a key role in supporting decision-making across the organisation.

Your role

As our Global BI Specialist, you will play a central role in strengthening Pharmacosmos’ Business Intelligence capabilities within Finance & IT – Data & Projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that high-quality data and actionable insights support decision-making across the organisation.

The role is an end-to-end BI position, covering both backend data platform work and frontend reporting, combined with close collaboration with stakeholders across the business. You will work across the full BI and data stack – from Azure Data Factory pipelines and SQL-based data models to reports and dashboards consumed globally.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising the BI and data platform, translating complex business requirements into scalable and value-creating BI solutions. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external BI consultants is a key part of the role, ensuring that requirements are clarified, challenged when necessary, and implemented in a robust and future-proof manner.

You will join Data & Projects, a small and highly specialised team within Finance & IT. The team consists of a Director, a Project Manager, and two Global BI Specialists and holds overall responsibility for Pharmacosmos’ BI and data platform.

The team culture is professional, collaborative, and informal, with a strong focus on knowledge sharing, sparring, and flexibility – including the option to work from home as needed.

Who you are

You are proactive, structured, and value-driven in your approach to BI and data. You thrive in roles with open-ended challenges, where requirements evolve through dialogue rather than fixed specifications. You are pragmatic and operationally minded, yet able to think strategically and contribute to continuous improvements of the BI and data platform.

Personal competencies

Rather, you thrive in our collaborative team where we informally brain-storm ideas, whereafter you drive the implementation of the project/report/fix.

  • You are a self-driven and systematic individual with a keen eye for detail, you're always seeking ways to enhance our data platform and processes. Your robust interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with others, having natural authority while maintaining an easy-going demeanor.
