Are you passionate about GxP systems and digital transformation? And would you like to take ownership of an essential part of the IT and compliance strategy in an innovative pharma company?

If yes, Pharmacosmos is looking for a GxP Cloud Engineer to join the Global IT team.

Pharmacosmos is a global pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Holbæk, Denmark and subsidiaries in the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, and China. Fueled by rapid growth and supported by over 700 employees, we continue to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, forging global partnerships to tackle pressing health challenges and improve patient outcomes worldwide. We have a collaborative and people-centric company culture rooted in our Danish heritage and built on quality, trust, and innovation.

About the department

Our Global IT department consists of 13 dedicated professionals, with 10 based at the headquarters in Holbæk. The department is structured into four focus areas: Helpdesk, Security, Application & Operation, and Strategic Projects. This role will join the Application & Operation team and serve as the primary internal expert on GxP-governed enterprise systems.

Global IT is on an exciting journey of modernization, transitioning from a traditional support function to a strategic enabler of digitalization, compliance, and operational excellence. You will work closely with colleagues across QA, Regulatory Affairs, laboratories, and IT.

About the job

We are now strengthening our internal ownership of GxP-governed IT systems – such as LIMS, TMF, and electronic document management systems – and digitalizing the way we work across QA, regulatory, and laboratory processes.

As GxP Cloud Engineer, you will take operational and strategic responsibility for these systems, ensuring they meet validation, documentation, and compliance requirements (e.g., GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11). You will also contribute to designing and implementing new systems as part of 8–10 major digitalization initiatives planned over the coming years.

This is a highly independent and impactful role with the opportunity to shape how Pharmacosmos governs and develops critical enterprise systems in a regulated environment.

The position reports to the Senior Director, Head of Global IT.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational ownership of existing GxP IT systems.

  • System design and architecture for new digital solutions.

  • Driving digitalization initiatives across QA, Regulatory, and Labs.

  • Ensuring validation, documentation, and compliance (GAMP5, Part 11).

  • Collaborating with stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Defining and optimizing governance and processes.

  • Acting as subject matter expert and advisor on IT/GxP matters.

About you

To thrive in this role, you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience with GxP IT systems (5+ years preferred).

  • Experience with systems such as LIMS, TMF, or electronic document management.

  • Knowledge of validation frameworks (e.g., GAMP5, Part 11).

  • Understanding of documentation, SOPs, and risk assessments.

  • Experience with cloud solutions is a plus, but GxP expertise is essential.

  • A proactive and structured mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

You thrive in a dynamic and quality-focused environment and are motivated by making a real impact across business-critical systems and processes.

We offer

  • A key role in a growing pharma company with high ambitions and strong values.

  • An opportunity to shape how GxP systems are governed and developed.

  • A collaborative and flexible work culture based in Holbæk.

  • Competitive salary package incl. health insurance, lunch scheme.

  • A global organization with an entrepreneurial and people-focused spirit.
