Strategic Leadership in Procurement
Reporting to the VP of Global Supply Chain & Procurement and leading a team of two FTEs, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust framework for managing key aspects of the companys spendcovering both indirect and direct procurement.
You will lead RFI and RFP processes, ensuring that procurement decisions align with corporate objectives and deliver cross-functional value. A key focus of the role is to develop and manage supplier relationships to meet evolving business needs, including identifying new vendors for product launches, implementing dual sourcing strategies, and conducting in-depth spend analyses to identify cost optimization opportunitieswithout compromising quality or reliability. You will strengthen supplier performance, enhance commercial agreements, and contribute to risk assessments to ensure compliance and supply chain resilience. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to Pharmacosmos digital transformation by driving the digitalization of procurement processes through data and digital tools. Furthermore, you will support the companys sustainability agenda by engaging suppliers in initiatives focused on carbon reduction and long-term environmental responsibility. In addition, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage procurement master data for greater cost transparency, and support internal stakeholders with strategic purchasing requirements. By maintaining a forward-looking perspective on supplier alternatives, market price trends, and lead times, you will help secure Pharmacosmos competitive advantage in global sourcing.
Analytical and Results-Oriented Procurement Leader
You bring a strong background in procurement, ideally from a manufacturing or life sciences environment, with proven expertise in managing indirect spend and navigating complex supplier landscapes. You have experience with direct procurement at a strategic level and are highly proficient in ERP and digital solutions/systems, enabling effective integration of procurement processes across the business. Your strong analytical mindset, solid understanding of CAPEX and OPEX, and ability to generate data-driven insights will support decision-making and cost-saving initiatives. You have well-developed digital and project management skills and are used to handling multiple priorities in a structured, goal-oriented manner. Personally, you are pragmatic, quality-driven, and possess a strong commercial mindset. You are a natural collaborator and a clear communicator, who thrives in cross-functional environments and is motivated by opportunities to drive meaningful improvements.
