The Role
As Senior Clinical Data Manager, you will oversee Data Management activities across our outsourced clinical studies and act as the primary point of contact for our CRO partners.
You will ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant data deliveries while helping to build a strong and collaborative vendor setup.
This role offers significant opportunity for influence and growth. You will help optimize processes and explore data-driven approaches including analytics, automation and AI in close collaboration with colleagues across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Programming, Medical Science, and Safety.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational oversight of outsourced Data Management activities.
Review and approve Data Management Plans, CRFs, edit checks, data transfer specifications, and validation documentation.
Monitor CRO performance, timelines, quality, and compliance.
Identify and manage data-related risks; ensure timely resolution and escalation.
Lead internal data quality review activities and database lock readiness.
Drive process improvements and standardisation within Data Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or similar.
5+ years of experience in clinical data management, preferably including vendor oversight in an outsourced model.
Strong understanding of GCP, ICH, CDISC, and data management best practices.
Hands-on experience with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave or Veeva CDMS.
Interest in data analytics, automation, or AI-based approaches.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, quality-driven mindset.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
