Are you motivated by playing a central role in ensuring efficient and compliant supply chain processes? If so, you might be the new Supply Chain Specialist to join Pharmacosmos’ headquarters in Holbæk. Reporting to the Senior Product Supply Manager you will be part of a global Supply Chain team.

Here, you will take responsibility for day-to-day execution while also helping to build and improve processes and systems in line with their growth journey.

About Pharmacosmos and the department

Pharmacosmos is a global pharmaceutical company in significant growth, delivering more than 20 percent annual growth in recent years. Headquartered in Holbæk, they also have subsidiaries in the US, Germany, the UK, and China. More than 650 colleagues worldwide work together to develop innovative treatments within iron deficiency and related diseases.

As a Supply Chain Specialist at Pharmacosmos, you will become part of a strong and collaborative team that works closely with contract manufacturers, QA, production, customer service, and sales across both Denmark and international markets.

The Supply Chain department manages planning, sourcing, and material flows for both raw materials and finished goods and is characterized by a dynamic and supportive culture with flat structures and broad responsibilities, giving you the chance to make a visible impact. Collaboration across functions is at the core of how they work, and you will contribute not only to daily operations but also to ongoing improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

The role

As Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a central role in the daily execution of supply chain activities within a GMP-regulated environment. You will act as a key link across the value chain, working closely with QA, production, customer service, sales, international contract manufacturers, and affiliates.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Taking operational responsibility for selected CMO partners in Europe and the US, including coordination, troubleshooting, and follow-up through regular meetings

  • Handling order flow, purchasing, and supplier interactions while ensuring compliance with GMP standards

  • Supporting affiliates with planning, reconciliations, and alignment of local needs

  • Acting as a link between internal and external stakeholders to secure alignment and efficient collaboration

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date master data in ERP, including BOMs and recipes

  • Contributing to process improvements, ERP implementation, and cross-functional projects

A crucial part of the role is contributing to Pharmacosmos’ digital transformation. You will work with data-driven decision-making, support the implementation of a new ERP system, and help automate processes to create a more scalable and future-ready supply chain. With your analytical mindset and strong Excel skills, you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact.

Your profile

Pharmacosmos is looking for a candidate who enjoys hands-on supply chain work and at the same time wants to contribute to improvements and development. You bring a strong operational mindset, solid ERP understanding, and thrive in a structured yet fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of compliance and documentation and have a proactive and service-minded approach to problem-solving.

To succeed in the role, you should bring:

  • Minimum three years of experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably within a GMP-regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, life science, or food

  • Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)

  • Good understanding of the interfaces between production, QA, and supply chain

  • Strong Excel skills and a data-driven approach

  • Fluency in Danish, both written and spoken, and professional English communication skills

  • Relevant education within supply chain or a related field is considered an advantage

It will be an advantage if you have experience with process optimization or system implementation.
