A Key Focus for Future Growth and Development

Thomas Birger Riisager joined Pharmacosmos on 8 August 2024 as EVP of Business Development and Strategy. Thomas’ overall responsibilities include evaluation of in-organic growth opportunities including screening-, assessing- and execution of company- and product acquisitions and in- licensing opportunities. In addition, Thomas has the responsibility for further development of Pharmacosmos’ Corporate Strategy.

Prior to joining Pharmacosmos,

Thomas held similar positions as Chief Business Development Officer for UK based (Private Equity owned) Theramex and Barcelona based (family owned) Esteve. Prior to this Thomas spent 13 years at Lundbeck heading up Business Development & Strategy.

Aside from work,

Thomas enjoys biking, golfing and (watching) football.
